No limits here. Basically, this web site is about cinema – movies, television and DVDs – along with any subject that might be covered by any of those communication devices.

You may find what you’re looking for here, or you may find something that you didn’t know you were looking for. Tomorrow it might be the other way around.

We do not tear your ticket in half because it is good tomorrow and for lots of tomorrows after that – except for March 23, 2016.

I will be busy that day.

To sign up for my Celebrate the Classics e-mail newsletter, or to ask a question or comment, please send me an e-mail.

NOTE: I will not sell, lend, give, or in any way allow your e-mail address to fall into the hands of spammers. If you sign up for my e-mail newsletter, I will use your e-mail address only for that purpose, and no other.

If you spot any technical problems with my site, please e-mail Bill, my webmaster.

If you want to share your comments, questions, and opinions with the world, feel free to do so below. The classic movies I show will cost you a couple of bucks. But comments are always free.

Better take advantage of my largesse while you can.

Reading up on Robert Shaw a bit (since a couple of the movies recently featured him) I found an interesting piece of trivia in IMDB in reference to Jaws and Shaw:

It is also incredulous that as the biggest box office film, which was the first movie to gross more than $100 million worldwide, he had ever been part of, he didn’t make a cent from it with the taxes he had to pay from working in the United States, Canada and Ireland.

The soul of the film didn’t make a cent off of the movie :P .

That often seems to be the way of the world, Plus the relationship of the artist to business and/or government is not to the favor of the artist except in rare occasions.
